Simple ideas for more Presence in your Day

I’m a big fan concrete, realistic intentions. Here’s a list of simple ways to increase Presence in Your Life:

Bringing Presence into regular life - Approaching work and social interactions with more presence:

  • Feeling your breath

  • Tuning into sensations

  • Noticing impulses before acting

  • Taking breaks to check-in with yourself

  • Your ideas

 Monotasking - Doing one thing at a time without looking at a screen, or listening to anything:

  • Eating Meals

  • Going for Walks

  • Siting and Meditating

  • Moving Your Body

  • Writing

Make a realistic intention that you can really do. Simple is good!

Some example intentions:

  • I’ll eat three breakfasts without multitasking this week

  • I’ll set an alarm once a day to take a break and check-in with how I’m feeling

  • I’ll attend 2 free classes and go for one walk without multitasking this week
